If you have an NDIS plan, psychology can be part of the support it funds. ABC Psychology works with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, providing therapy and psychological assessment for adolescents and adults, along with the reports that support planning and reviews. Appointments are available on the Sunshine Coast and Australia-wide by telehealth, so you can access support from wherever you are.
Whether psychology is funded in your plan depends on your goals and the supports included in it. Psychology often sits under capacity-building supports, which are aimed at building skills and independence. If mental health or emotional well-being is connected to your disability and your goals, it is worth checking whether your plan includes the relevant supports. If you are not sure, get in touch, and we will help you work it out.

We work with participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. We provide invoices in line with NDIS requirements, so you or your plan manager can claim against your plan. Full funding information is on our Fees and Funding page.
Alongside therapy, we provide psychological and functional capacity assessments, with reports to support NDIS planning and reviews. If you are a support coordinator or plan manager, please visit our Contact and Referrals page to discuss what you need.
You do not need a referral to book. If psychology is funded in your plan, get in touch and we will talk through how your sessions work and what to have ready, including your plan details and how your plan is managed.
Get in touch and we will help you work out how psychology fits into your plan.
